Middle School Summer Transitional Training Program
(June 13-July 20)

What is it? This is an opportunity for young players (6th and 7th graders) to transition from the small field with 50 foot mound and 70 foot bases to the big field with 60 foot mound and 90 foot bases.
Program details: There will be an emphasis put on proper fundamentals and positioning on a regulation field to help younger players get valuable experience for trying out for their middle school teams. This is a training program that will also have simulated scrimmage games throughout the 5 weeks of instruction.
Fundamentals taught: Cutoffs and relays, run downs, baserunning, situational positioning, hitting, fielding, throwing, ect.

There are no makeup dates for absences. Makeups are for weather-related cancellations.
