Derek Vartanian commits to Guilford Tech.




On Deck Academy would like to congratulate Derek Vartanian (2021 On Deck O's/Sun Valley High School) on his commitment to Guilford Tech.  Derek is a pleasure to coach and he possesses tremendous upside on the mound.  Coach Barrow landed a talented competitor who knows how to pitch and has the ability to continue making significant strides in the near future.  Derek is also a very good student and wonderful teammate.  We are very proud of his achievement.

On Deck would also like to congratulate Derek's family and recognize Coach Stack and the coaching staff at Sun Valley High School for their efforts in Derek's development and recruitment.  We look forward to following Derek's success as he prepares to continue his education and playing career at the collegiate level. #ondeckfamily
