On Deck Academy would like to congratulate Bryson Walker, (2021 On Deck O's/North Gaston HS) on his commitment to Guilford Tech! Bryson has worked very hard to earn the opportunity to continue his playing career at the collegiate level. He has enjoyed a very successful high school career as a two-sport athlete (baseball and basketball) and he is a very high-achieving student. Bryson played a very important role with the 2021 On Deck O's as a reliable member of the pitching staff. He brings a lot of value to the team as a competitor and teammate.
We are very happy for Bryson and his parents, Cara and Tim, as well as Coach Barrow and the GTCC coaching staff. It is also important to recognize the efforts of the coaching staff at North Gaston High School on this exciting accomplishment.
