On Deck Academy is more than just a baseball organization. It represents a safe environment where the game of baseball is used as a tool to teach lessons about life’s experiences in a positive way. Student-athletes in this program will develop a better understanding of how education, skill, luck, work, individual achievement, team performance, sacrifice, confrontation, judgment, choice… all things in which experience brings enormous value… can affect and impact their lives and the lives of others. We believe that players, who finish the complete On Deck experience, will be productive people with a strong sense of self-worth, work ethic and community service, irrespective of when they stop playing competitive baseball. On Deck is proud of the OVER 5oo graduates who have completed the program and moved on to play college and/or professional baseball.
The On Deck experience is a mutual effort shared by players, parents and coaches who are committed to the development of future leaders. As we strive to be inspirational, effective leaders in our community for our peers and our youth, it is imperative that we allow our core values to be the guiding principles in the application of leadership.
