On Deck Academy would like to recognize Delaney Powell (2022 On Deck O's/Hickory Ridge HS) on his recent commitment to UNC Asheville. Delaney has dedicated himself to playing the game the right way all the time. He is a wonderful role-model for younger players and his work ethic is unmatched. He is fun to watch play and he brings energy and passion to every aspect of the game.
We would like to congratulate Delaney and his parents, Staci and Vince, on this impressive achievement. The Bulldogs added a special student-athlete to their program. We are excited to watch Delaney continue to grow as a player and prepare for great things at the collegiate level.
