On Deck Academy would like to recognize Brendan Pouliot (2022 On Deck O's/Charlotte Country Day) for his commitment to UNC Asheville! Coach Friedholm landed a talented two-way player who has tremendous upside on the mound and at the plate. Brendan has a good arm and he commands multiple pitches for strikes. As a left-handed hitter, he has plus power and great knowledge of the strike zone. Brendan is also a very good student and he has very high expectations for himself on and off the field.
We would like to congratulate Brendan and his parents, Courtney and Jeff, as well as Coach Hennessey and the staff at Country Day. This is an exciting time and a wonderful achievement! We look forward to following Brendan's success with the Bulldogs in the future!
