Jacob Budzik commits to UNCG!

On Deck Academy is proud to announce some more exciting news this week! Jacob Budzik (2022 On Deck O's/Sun Valley High School) committed to The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jacob is a very talented athlete who has the ability to change the game with his speed and/or his ability to drive the baseball. He is a very good offensive player who also brings tremendous value to his team on the defensive side of the ball. He is versatile and can play either middle infield position, and has the ability to play the outfield at a high level as well. Jacob is a very good teammate and he works hard on and off the field. He is also a very high-achieving student at Sun Valley High School. Coach Godwin is adding a very good player and a phenomenal young man to his program.

We are looking forward to following Jacob's continued success through the year and at the next level. Congratulations to Jacob and his parents, Pamela and Tom, as well as Coach Stack and the entire staff at Sun Valley High School on this exciting achievement.
