“It has been fun watching Colby grow into the young man and player he is now.  He left the dark side of being a catcher (12U) and came to the good guys on the mound and has continued to reinvent himself to be the competitor he is.  I will always remember the time I knew he was going to persevere and succeed after an outing in state games when we talked on his ride home. It wasn’t the best outing and we talked about how we would laugh one day about it.  From that day to last year’s All Conference USA team selection continues to prove his drive, dedication, determination and ability to move forward. Favorite thing about College Baseball: My favorite thing about college baseball would be beating ACC/SEC schools. 

What I will miss the most: I think I will miss going to the field with my friends and roommates everyday for hours and going to work. 

A piece of advice for younger O's: Get ahead with training early would be my advice. Don’t start going all in on training till it’s too late. By training I mean weight lifting, eating right, bullpens, weighted balls, etc because that stuff is the hard part and playing is easy. 

Plans after baseball: My plans are to play as long as possible then possibly get into the game of baseball in any way I can, maybe by coaching.
